Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about eye exams, LASIK and cataract surgery.
Am I a candidate for LASIK?
Most candidates are adults whose prescription has been stable for at least a year and who have healthy corneas of enough thickness. The only way to know is a full eye exam with corneal scans
How much does cataract surgery cost in Amman?
The cost depends on the lens type you choose and your eye’s condition. Book an exam for an exact quote.
How long is recovery?
After LASIK, most people see well within 1-2 days and return to work within a few days, with full stabilization over weeks. After cataract surgery, vision improves within days, and eye drops continue for a few weeks. Dr. Yazan will give you a personal follow-up plan.
What lens options are available for cataract surgery?
Options include standard monofocal lenses, lenses that correct astigmatism (toric), and Trifocal Premium lenses that reduce dependence on glasses for near and far vision. We’ll help you choose based on your lifestyle and eye health.
Do you treat keratoconus and other corneal problems?
Yes. Dr. Yazan is a cornea specialist and evaluates and treats keratoconus, corneal scarring, and other corneal conditions.
Do you accept insurance?
We work with insurance companies. Please bring your card or call 0796285683 to confirm coverage before your visit.
